The founder of Kicks Hawaii, Ian is a pioneer in the world of sneaker culture with significant contributions including two 2007 collaboration debuts in support of Converse (PRODUCT) RED and his highly sought after 2004 Kicks Hawaii Nike Dunk collaboration. Bringing the spirit of aloha to everything he touches, Ian recently joined Converse, where he now spends his days working on the brand’s most limited product. Supreme 2009 Fall/Winter Collection
Supreme pulls the covers off its 2009 fall/winter collection. Arguably one of, if not the most respected brands around, the skate-centric label brings together a collection featuring a strong collection of headwear, outerwear, t-shirts as well as increasingly more apparent footwear releases including a desert boot. Collaborations include Buck Knives, Bicycle Playing Cards, Hanes and Mickey Mouse. For release dates, the collection will hit stores Thursday, September 3rd in NY/LA, Saturday, September 5th in Japan and online on Thursday, September 10th at 11:00 am EST.

Casio G-Shock X Gundam - Limited Edition RX-78-2 | MS-06S
Not that our favorite giant robots from the Japanese meta-series of anime, Gundam, will need to wear watches to tell time, but the sheer indestructibility and penchant for technological advancement are similarities both Gs share. For the 30th Anniversary celebration of G-Shock, the two Gs partnered up to release two limited edition G-Shocks in the DW-5600 and DW-6900. The special edition white DW-5600 is based on Gundamn RX78-2, the iconic Gundam design as a testbed weapon for Earth Federation. Meanwhile, the red DW-6900 is based on the MS-06S Zaku II Zeon mobile suit that is most common in the beginning of the show.
For the fans of Gundam, the special edition G-Shocks incorporate artwork and elements of the two suits from Gundam on the straps and also a character logo on the stainless steel back. Absolutely to become desirable collectors’ items, these watches will be up for pre-order in the second half of October, and will be available for sale in March 2010.
Volume - Trickster Handle Bar
Volume has been involved with making fixed gear bikes and parts for trick riders and their newest addition to the already good line up of products are the Trickster Bar. As the name suggests, it is made with tricking in mind and the high rise with extra horizontal bar provides added strength and durability. The clamp size is 22.2mm with 4″ rise, 22″ width, 6 degrees of backsweep and 4.5 degrees of upsweep. Previous to this release many riders opted for MTB or BMX bars, so this will be the perfect bar for those who want to start tricking on their fixed gear. These will be available in black or white colors and should be ready to deliver in mid September.
Supreme x Buck Knives - Fall/Winter 2009 - Buck Knife
Commonly applied as a description for knives with folding blade, Buck Knives, in fact is a registered trademark manufacture of, you guessed, knives. Established by blacksmith Hoyt Buck 103 years ago, the firm became renowned for high quality, hand crafted knives that were reliable. But it was forever linked to one particular model - Buck Folding Hunter Model 110. Developed in 1963, the knife was perfectly weighted, but it was its folding “lockblade” that made it the most copied knife design since.
Included as an accessory for Supreme Fall/Winter 2009 Collection, the NYC-base label worked with Buck Knives in creating a pair of Supreme labeled folding knives. Based on Buck Range Model 120, a smaller successor of Model 110. The Supreme Editions will feature the same brass inlay and wood handles with 2 different color wood veneers. A large Supreme logo is then overlay on the handle. The knives, as well as the rest Fall/Winter 2009 Collection will be available staring next week at Supreme boutiques world wide.
Kiks TYO - Dunk T Shirts
The Sneaker and Girls series by Kiks TYO is probably what they are known for the most and to continue with the series, their latest t shirt designs once again feature Japanese pop girl group Shanadoo in early classic Nike Dunks. There are two variations of the t shirts with Dunk t shirt showing the four girls in a group shot wearing cropped Kiks TYO shirts while Dunk 2 t shirt features two girls on the front and back each in bikini holding early Dunks. Both of the t shirts will be delivered around late September to early October and the pre order will end at the end of August.
Supreme x Disney Mickey Mouse - Fall/Winter 2009 Collection
Rocker Lou Reed did it, so has artist Damien Hirst, Richard Prince, Kermit the Frog, even “King of Beers” Budweiser. All have took part in what is perhaps the most exceptional component to Supreme, its collaboration projects. Joining the fray this season is one of the world’s most recognizable icons, Mickey Mouse. The 2-piece limited collection features the classic version of Mickey, imprinted on either a Raglan Pull Over, made from heavy weight cotton fleece, or 100% cotton tees. 2 colorways are available in Raglan Pull Over model while 5 color sets are available in the tees.
Like the rest of Fall/Winter 2009 products, the Supreme x Disney Mickey Mouse Collection will launch on 3 separate dates next week. First on Thursday, September 3rd, at its North American flagships in Los Angeles and New York, followed by stores in Japan on Saturday, September 5th. And finally, on its official online store the following Thursday, September 10th.

XLarge X Samurai Magazine - “Gorilla Camo” Capsule Collection
As Japan’s Samurai Magazine turns the big 1-0, marking it’s decade of making it in the brutal print industry, the magazine had collaborated with XLarge Japan to create a commemorative “Gorilla Camo” Capsule Collection for the landmark birthday.
This capsule collection features a full zip hoodie and long-sleeved tee, both covered in the retro multi-colored camouflage “Gorilla Camo” print. The full-zip hoodie is ash-colored with the camo lining while the long-sleeved tee features the XLarge logo on the front and dressed the sleeves in “Gorilla Camo”. Both due to release in the first half of December, the hoodie will retail for approximately $147 and the tee for $67.

Here is a preview of the latest release of fixed gear bicycle frame set by Leader. The 722TS is a well built bike that have been produced especially for daily commuting or for serious track racing in mind. With a combination of classic track frame silhouette with a modern touch, this frame is made of highest quality heat treated double butted chromoly 4130 with stainless steel drop outs. Hand tig welded with hydroformed seat tube make it durable and strong. This frame is the first of its kind to come into US market with hydro formed steel tube. Plenty of wheel space is provided to accommodate 700 x 23 ~ 28 tire with caliper and up to 32 tire maximum without the caliper.
