While last season was marked by what some would say was an out-of-character palette of colors, the 2009 fall/winter collection features a return to more subdued colors with earthy tones. A-Morir Barracuda Studded Sunglasses
Although a bit less wearable than Kanye’s shutter shades, these new Barracuda studded sunglasses from A-Morir retain that same avant-garde feel, surely bound to garner a good amount of similar hype. Crafted by hand, the Kerin Rose-created shades feature a fully studded exterior with comfortable visibility, as demonstrated by their appearance on Rihanna in the recent “Run This Town” music video. Available in three colorways, including black, silver, and gold, all can now be pre-ordered via the A-Morir website for $350 USD a piece.

Undoubtedly one of the most recognizable characters from Japan is the Hello Kitty, which garner a dedicated following from girls to women around the world. Now especially made for the fitted fiends, who love this character and New Era 59Fifty caps. The iconic Hello Kitty is embroidered in 3D on the front in contrasting color and also the logo embroidered on the back. The basic Hello Kitty caps come in black/white, black/gold, black/pink, pink/white, white/red, purple/white and rasta colorways. However On Spotz in Japan have made special orders to further enhance the designs on their own versions with additional pink sakura flower, red ribbon on white Hello Kitty and red ribbon on pink Hello Kitty. Sesame Street is the TV program that proved that television can be used as educational tool with its colorful and unique characters. Amongst the favorite and famous characters are Big Bird, Elmo and Cookie Monster who have become more than just characters on the children’s show.
Many street wear brands take inspiration from Sesame Street characters but this is the original in all its glory. Various designs on New Era 59Fifty is available and there is the Smile, which has all the familiar characters embroidered on the front panel with Sesame Street logo on the back. Individual character caps are also available in Street Sign (small faces) and Big Face, with the choice of Elmo, Big Bird and Cookie Monster.
