When the CONVERSE All Star gets rebellious and decides to turn itself inside out, front to back, it turns “No Good” and gets “No Star”. Albeit the strange contortion, The Converse Moonwalk puts a smile on our face with its whimsical and defiant designs. Rather than having the lace hoops, tongue and lace panels like other good All Stars on the front upper, the Moonwalk decides that laces will look better on the heels. As a result, the entire front upper becomes one smooth continuous piece except for the extended heel stripe that now runs down the front middle. The All Star turns into a slim space-age boot with funny details such as a “No Good No Star” parody logo on the side and a “No Good” plastic patch on the front soles.

Perfect Home Embroidered T-Shirt
Part of the recently launch Fall/Winter Collection for 2009, the Perfect Home T-Shirt from OriginalFake exemplify the whimsical aspect of KAWS’ illustrations and designs. But the t-shirt also a perfect execution of an artistic design. Instead of silk-screen the graphics onto the tee, the zig-zag illustration was embroidered on with fine needlework and threads.
Fall/Winter 2009 - Corduroy Pants
At one time considered to be only suitable for royalties because of its velvet texture, corduroy, never the less, enjoy the popularity among the commoners of rustic England because of its warmth and durability. Now the “cloth of the king” will undergo another transformation as part of Fall/Winter 2009 lineup from OriginalFake. Available in 4 colors at a medium-wale, the width of each “cords” that run vertically on the fabric. The slightly tapered fit pants reinforced with metal rivets around the pockets, each etched with KAWS’ Circle Teeth graphics. Large XXs, another signature from KAWS, embroider in reflective threads on the 2 rear pockets.
OriginalFake and its iconic Chomper print will make an appearance on an upcoming series of shoelaces by Starks. Featuring three different colors in gray, red and blue, the aglets also feature an OriginalFake type logo. The laces will release this month at select OF dealers including JUICE HK with a retail price of $160 HKD (approximately $21 USD).
