adidas “Fixie” Samba
Adidas are to release a sneaker for all you ‘fixed gear’ riders, designing a new Samba colorway. Slimming down the midsole slightly and moulding the entire upper for speed, these wheel turners come in two restrained colours complemented by an oversize tongue tag declaring ‘Slam the hammer down!’ alongside logos of mechanical gears. There is no word on a fixed released date, so keep checking here for more news.

Band of Outsiders paired up with American quintessential boat shoe label, Sperry Top-Sider, this season to release a collection of collaborative shoes combining heritage of Sperry Top-Sider and design aesthetics of Band of Outsiders. This limited edition collection remaking authentic originals from Sperry Top-Sider. Some of the silhouettes include a chukkah, the classic 3-eye boat shoe and a reconstructed penny loafer. The shoes are crafted from a variety of material such as water-resistant leather, flannel and suede. Other than cool grey-shades on the boat shoe, chukkah and penny loafer, there is also a red/blue chukkah for those who are looking to bring a little more color and energy to their steps. It might come as a surprise for Lorinser to move into the more technical field of paintwork upgrades. Lorinser is more famous for their aftermarket parts such as body kits and wheels for Mercedes Benz. Their new Fiery Opal paint work is here on display on the Mercedes Benz GLK 280 along with their new front and rear spoilers, larger fog lamps and side skirts. Also kitted onto the car is 9 x 22 inch Lorinser RS 9 painted in matte black for menacing look. To finish off there are quad exhaust systems with stainless steel tips. The details of this move into the paint work field is not clarified but this could provide an extra option for Lorinser fans.

Ferrari - 458 Italia Revealed
The Ferrari 458 Italia launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show to a overwhelming crowd waiting in anticipation. As we had reported earlier this car is going to be the pinnacle of Ferrari with its performance and aesthetics displaying perfect marriage. The vehicle achieves an almost perfect balance between front and rear which is important for drivability with 58 per cent front and 42 per cent rear. On top of that this vehicle is equipped with F1 derived technology that Ferrari says will guarantee optimal performance under all conditions. With all new suspension system, the 458 is said to out handle the F430 which can be argued to be the best handling car on the planet. To further provide aerodynamics at high speeds, they have used small aeroelastic winglets which generate downforce and deforms to reduce the section of the radiator intake and cuts drag.
Lancier by DITA Eyewear
Lancier by DITA is the brand’s latest project in the realm of eyewear. The capsule will focus on eyewear catering specifically to “high-end, performance driven eyewear” which will debut at SILMO Paris between September 17th and September 20th, 2009.
adidas SLVR 113
A lot of sneaker brands are currently making their way through chukka-like models, and let’s face it, not everybody is pulling it off. The same cannot be said for adidas’ SLVR.
