Designer Alejandro Ingelmo has made a name for himself in the high end sneaker market over the last couple of seasons. Most of his creations definitely come with a bit of a loud attitude, making use of a lot of metallic colors and patent leathers. The Spring/Summer 2010 Collection is a little less bold, but still makes use of the metallics in new ways.

For the second time already we see Pharrell Williams getting into furniture design – this time he presents the Tank Chair. The Tank Chair comes in overall 4 colorways and is made of plexiglas and full grain colt leather. The chair will be on display at the Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin next week during Art Basel Miami.

Trussardi
Milanese-based Trussardi 1911 put out a limited-edition collection for the 2009 fall/winter season. The leather-based designs include wallets, a high-top sneaker and a belt. Throughout each piece is a series of silver grommets which contrast against the black leather.

Pharrell Williams x Moncler - Fall 2010 - Moncler V Collection
Italian down company, Moncler is branching out of out and expanding its roots by reaching into the industry with a new collection, Moncler V. The collection is a series of collaborative projects and includes a previously announced partnership with Japanese label, Visvim. Now to hop on the Moncler V Collection is musician-artist-entrepreneur extraordinaire, Pharrell Williams.
The collaboration between Pharrell and Moncler is a blackout line up of items crafted from Pharrell’s three year old textile company, Bionic. Bionic produces yarns and fabrics from recycled bottles, and the company had also previously produced pieces in collaboration with GAP for the latter’s 40th Anniversary.

Japanese Warp magazine maintains to keep one step ahead with their world view on street fashion and cultures. Since its beginning Warp and SWAGGER have had a good relationship and with similar point of views and background comes this collaborative project.
Known for their innovative take on street wear, SWAGGER flexes their creative muscle with this Hood Jacket which marries classic hoodie and military jacket elements. Constructed out of cotton twill fabrics in charcoal grey or beige. On the left arm is a vintage like SWG logo that is a little bit faded. Two buttoned chest pockets characterize the military feel as well as elastic waist sections. These are planned to be released around mid Feburary exclusively to Warp Web.
