Aside from working with Louis Vuttion, and drawing and sculpting and painting and more, Takashi Murakami is also a show host on Tokyo FM’s “FM Art Dojo” talk show. To celebrate Tokyo FM’s 40th Anniversary, the hit station had enlisted the help of both Murakami and G-Shock to create a limited edition celebratory birthday Frogman. After Murakami laid his hands on G-Shock’s diving watch, the casing and strap had turned a happy translucent pink, with Murakami’s signature on the strap. The back casing has been engraved with the iconic smiley flower, and the limited edition Frogman comes packaged in a special matching pink box, sitting atop the flower pillow. These will be available for pre-order starting July 30, and there are only 300 available.
