adidas Originals by Originals x WHIZ Limited - Superstar 80s @ PHANTACi
adidas Originals geared up with three designers for the 60th Anniversary of its three-stripes, and amongst the three prominent designers selected is Kazuki Kuraishi — Adidas Creative Product Manager for Japan, and also better known for his moniker, Fragment Design. In the line up of products created for ObyO Kzk, Kuraishi’s collection with adidas Originals is a pair of Superstar 80’s created in collaboration with Japan’s WHIZ Limited. One of adidas’ favorite designs of all time, the Superstar, is reworked in a sophisticated all-over red and all-over black, topped with clean white shell toes and soles. For the first time, Taiwan’s only Nike Tier 0 and Nike-only retailer, PHANTACi, is bringing adidas into its collection. Though, PHANTACi is no stranger of mixing in some unusual retail strategies as we had just reported the retailer putting up items for auction on Yahoo! Kimo. Regardless, for those who are simply looking to add these Superstars to their closets, the shoes will limited release at PHANTACi this Saturday, October 3.
